Where or Where has the summer gone? We had a great 3 month stretch! We had Auntie Emmy and her girls visit (lots and lots of FUN), our dear friend Andrew stayed with us for a week, traveled home to Indiana at the beginning and at the end of summer, Norah had sleep overs and Grandma and Grandpa Arlander's, camping trips, LOTS of swimming at our friends house across the street, parades, LOTS of playing outside and at parks, Norah learned to ride bike with training wheels, we went to many softball games watching daddy, had a few hotel stays with pools, Norah ran races at the city track for a few weeks, Norah finally will go down all slides and love underdogs on the swings at parks, Norah can walk into 2's and 3's at church and daycare with out having a meltdown, mommy had another great girls weekend getaway up north, daddy and Norah worked all summer in the garden, and we had a patio built in our back yard. The biggest adventure was out to PA this summer. Norah stayed at Auntie Melanie and Uncle Silly Pants house for a week while mommy and daddy vacationed with friends!!!! We continue to wait for the Lord to reveal the opportunity for a second child through adoption.
These are just some of the highlights from the season. Life is good!!!!
